Over 5 Decades of Legends
In 2008, a group of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) enthusiasts established the International Electronic Dance Music Hall of Fame, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, honoring, and celebrating the rich history of electronic music and the pioneers who shaped it. Preserving the depth and significance of EDM history ensures that future generations can understand and appreciate its impact on global dance culture.
With a desire to adopt a more “childlike” approach to the industry, the founders created a mission to honor EDM legends. This vision led to the creation of the EDM Hall of Fame Induction Awards, highlighted in the 2020 IEDMHF campaign video featuring Frankie Knuckles and other notable artists.
