Discover the Hall of Fame as a Fan or Partner. Be the Future.

Established on July 6, 2009, this organization was created to address a longstanding question within the global Electronic Dance Music (EDM) community: What is our rightful place in music?

To protect and preserve the historical record, cultural heritage, and legacy of EDM from greed and misuse, the founders established the organization as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This structure recognizes the significant contributions of individuals and organizations to EDM history while supporting the vibrant music festival culture that surrounds electronic dance music.

The official purpose of the EDM Hall of Fame is to:

• Recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant and lasting contributions to the history and evolution of the electronic dance music industry.
• Create awareness of, preserve, and maintain an accurate historical record of electronic dance music and the evolution of its culture.
• Develop philanthropic initiatives that address contemporary issues through positive, music-centered endeavors that enrich and strengthen electronic dance music and its festival culture.

As the Electronic Dance Music Hall of Fame, we are committed to preserving EDM history with sincerity, integrity, and conviction. We work diligently and with the utmost care, security, and accuracy to ensure a seamless and trustworthy ballot and induction process that honors the individuals who have shaped electronic dance music and the vibrant festival culture surrounding it.
